MPTCC Round 4 - Buttonwillow II
On turn one, Edik's DA Integra stepped right and onto the dirt. The control arm had failed and the off course slowed him down enough to allow Landry to pass by and take lap one for himself! With Michele on three cylinders, she would do her best to keep it running until the end. This was a good situation, but not the best.

Then before he could complete lap two, Landry ran into a problem! His right front tire had gone flat, but with no clue what was wrong, he pulled into the paddock and ended his day which gave the lead back to Edo. Landry would not get credit in the points as he only officially ran one lap!

Michele was able to nurse the car through to the end of the 35 minute race and received full points for Second Place. This left the points gap at 4 between her and Edo.

With Landry out and Michele far behind, it was an easy cruise to the win for Edo. I say that, but it was anything but considering he was dealing with a broken front suspension. With the crack now a complete failure, who knows where Edo would land in Race Two.

That meant that there was no tie situation between her and Edo, Michele would have to make second place in the final race to win the championship. If she finished third, she would lose by 1 point. If she got second, she could win by 1. With an unhealthy engine and two strong cars, that would be a struggle.

Each driver would have to take their rewards for that day. Race 2 would be the final race in 2012 and the determining factor in who wins the MPTCC Tuner Under Championship.
