From inside the car, you'll mark and drill the holes required for the hardware.
On the backside, all holes were deburred and painted to reduce chances of rust in the future… something you Southern Californians have likely never heard of.
All bolted up and ready to go. Here you can see the special lock nuts used to ensure they never rattle loose as well.
And from the front.
Next comes drilling for the rear legs of the roll bar. The first large hole already exists behind a rubber grommet, which was removed before the roll bar was placed. Care must be used when drilling the other two holes as it's difficult to access the top of the rear legs.
Here is the final install for the rear backing plates after all holes are drilled.
