Volk RE30 wheels are light strong and stiff.  Stiff wheels can run less static negative camber and have better traction under braking.  Hankook Z214 C91 compound tires are currently the stickiest DOT race tire on the market.  They don’t last particularly long or heat cycle well but they are literally seconds faster than the competition!

Lightweight and strong Volk RE30 forged wheels are used. The RE30 uses extensive FEA analysis to develop a wheel that is lightweight, strong and extra stiff. This stiffness ensures better handling. 18×10.5 inch wheels are used with a +18mm offset. The wheels are shod with the stickiest DOT race tires around, Hankook Ventus Z214 C91 compound. These tires are so sticky that they are practically seen as an unfair advantage in time attack.

The car’s bored and stroked 2300cc F20C engine is full of Toda naturally aspirated goodness.  Smooth high revving fun.  We would love to drive this car.

The naturally aspirated F20C engine is also quite interesting. It has been bored and stroked at 87.5mm in bore and 97mm in stroke to 2300cc. 12.8:1 forged Toda pistons are used with billet Toda stroker crank and rods. Toda is also responsible for the camshafts, timing gears, valve springs and retainers. Toda ITB’s control airflow into the engine with a custom J’s Racing plenum feeding them. Spark is handled by NGK fine wire heat range 9 racing plugs.

Custom J’s Racing header is a work of art too nice to cover with heat wrap.

It is titanium and it is JDM but in typical JDM fashion its sorta cobbly and cool at the same time.

A J’s Racing custom header feeds exhaust gasses into a custom super light J’s Racing titanium 70mm exhaust system. The cooling system and oiling system are modified by J’s Racing for track use. An ATL fuel cell ensures safety in an accident. Engine management is handled by a Motec M400 tuned by Andy Chan. The pumped up F motor cranks out an impressive 320 whp and 210 lb/ft of torque with a redline of 9200 rpm on Sunoco 100 unleaded fuel. This is measured on a conservative Mustang Dynomometer. The more common Dynojet would probably read significantly higher.

Toda short runner intake manifold and ITB’s are fed by the large plenum custom made by J’s Racing.  A duct feeds cold ram air to the plenum.
