Here’s a rear view with some of the bits removed for clarity. This represents the suspension at full extension (full rebound).
Same view, but from above. Note the position of the center pivot. The ends of the pivot are at about 12 o’clock and 6 o’clock.
Rear view again, representing the suspension at full compression, (full jounce).
Top view at full jounce. Note how the ends of the bellcrank have rotated clockwise.
Here’s an animation. This is an extreme case, as it shows one wheel moving up and the other down. Again, the deflections are a bit exaggerated, but you can see how the center pivot essentially locks up and forces the upper arms to bend.
