Preparing for Endurance: Racing at the Rolex 24 at Daytona with a Porsche 911 GT3 Cup

From that point on, all four drivers put in flawless stints throughout the night, making up time and positions until the race went under yellow for nearly three hours in the morning hours due to heavy fog. Once underway, the team progressively moved its way up the order until the team was in fourth with less than two hours remaining when Lietz reported a brake problem and came to the pits with a broken hydraulic line. The team lost two laps replacing and bleeding the system, but maintained fourth position. Stanton put in a trouble-free final stint and a half and crossed the finish line in fourth place. The team completed 674 laps in 24 Hours.

The team’s next race will be GRAND-AM’s Grand Prix of Miami on March 5-6, before they compete in the 12 Hours of Sebring on March 19.
