Pro Italia’s Cafe Desmo – 2012

A lineup of a few of the naked bikes.  Thank goodness for the tents as it was a toasty day.

I was really digging this Monster S4.  It was very clean with an Ohlins steering damper on the left side of the bike attached to the frame and fork; it was the first time I've seen that.  It has a nice sprinkling of anodized red components, subtle but effective.  Also, check out the boxy looking muffler with dual outlets.  I didn't hear it run, but I bet it's loud.

I really liked the color scheme on this Sport 1000.  The gold pegs, clutch, and fork go well with the Lotus like black and gold paint.  The nipples of the wheel spokes are gold even.

Another cool feature are the timing belt covers with the clear plexi-glass showing off the belts.  Oh, of course, there’s an Ohlins rear shock.

Fat gold hubs, fat spokes (compared to bicycle wheel spokes!), fat gold nipples, and a fat wallet required to afford the carbon fiber wheels.
