Project BOSS 302 Revival: Introduction

,

Street/Track Project Goals

With 700 horsepower on tap, we will have more than enough ponies to drive this BOSS 302 on the street and during track days. We will be theming the Mustang off a 2013 BOSS 302R World Challenge spec look and handling feel…with twice as much power. Other goodies will include a set of Clubsport coilovers from KW Suspension, GA1R Open Lug 18-inch monoblocks from Forgeline wrapped in Toyo R888R road race tires, brand new brakes, front suspension, and a few other surprises along the way.

Another parts preview: our satin gold Forgeline GA1R Open Lug monoblock wheels. These wheels were favored among World Challenge Mustang teams for their rigidity and light weight structure. FEA tested and approved, these wheels will allow us to fit 295 front and 315 rear Toyo R888R road race tires.

Our last parts preview is a set of….you guessed it, KW Clubsport coilovers! A favorite here at MotoIQ, these Clubsports have been tuned up to specs mirroring the setup used by Jack Roush Jr.’s World Challenge BOSS 302!

We have plenty in store for this new project car. So, stay tuned for more on Project Boss 302Revival!
