Jeff snaps the old boot out of the center console and prepares to install the new suede part.

Here is the new suede boot installed. Everything is reinstalled in reverse order, and it’s on to the dash install.
First, Howard removed the trim above the dash.
Next, Howard removed all the hardware holding the dash on and then carefully pulled and pried on the dash to release it from the clips holding it in place.
Next, it was time to change out the old leather-wrapped steering wheel.
