Eibach swaybars are made using highest quality spring steel wire that is wound through a proprietary CNC controlled vending process. They temper the swaybar to take the strain off the material and shotpeen the bar to increase service life. Their kits include greasable poly bushings for increased responsiveness and precision forged ends. OEM style pressed bushing locators (like the one shown above) are used which means no welding or weak points in the bar. In our kit, both the front and rear bars are adjustable with three adjustments for the rear bar and two adjustments for the front bar.
The stock front swaybar is 26.5mm vs. the Eibach bar at 32mm with two ranges of stiffness adjustment.
The stock rear swaybar is 24mm vs. the Eibach at 29mm with three ranges of stiffness adjustment.
Howard uses his teflon tape trick to prevent squeaking with the urethane bushings.
Sometimes I forget how quickly Howard works and before I know it he has the swaybars off and is ready to put the new parts on the car. We had to unbolt the exhaust to fit the new rear bar.
The front bar bolted in very easily
