Project G37S: Suspension Upgrade with KW Variant 3’s and Eibach Swaybars

Ensuring longevity is also important, and KW only uses stainless steel on the strut housing the threads and the supplied mounting hardware. The springs themselves are also corrosion-resistant. There are many parts that go into making KW’s dampers, and it’s important at KW that all of those parts are tested from a quality assurance standpoint to ensure the customer has a “perfect” working product. This particular application is intended for 370z, Infiniti G37 and Q60 coupe (and, ah-hem, unofficially the G37 Sedan).

Final assembly of the front suspension was done on the bench along with the new factory upper spring mount, rubber isolator and gasket.

The assembly was then installed, preloaded and tightened to spec.

To ensure the height was as uniform as possible in the rear from side to side, the spring seat that adjusts the rear height was measured before installation.

The rear damper assembled before going on the car and as with the front a new factory upper mount and gasket was installed.
