The Sony XAV AX8100 is a pretty great unit, it sounds good, and its simple, modern telematics package brings our GD STI up to date with modern cars. The simple and clean interface is superior to most OEMs in terms of intuitiveness and ease of use. It was even cheaper than the Pioneer unit it replaced even with 2012 dollar pricing. We are not much into car audio but we feel that the XAV AX8100 is a decent driver’s aid.
