Perfectly chopped off with no damage to the spindle itself, Howard's precision is top notch.
The shape and design of the rear rotors appear to be OEM, which may suggest the original rear rotors since it rolled off the assembly line. This wouldn't be a surprise given they are of solid design which can take a lot of wear and street use on a FWD car which does not put a huge amount of load on the rear brakes in general.
Before the new rear brake pads can be installed, the rear caliper piston needs to be screwed back into the caliper for the correct clearance to accommodate the width of the fresh pads.
With the piston clearance set, the rear pads can be installed without issue.
With the rear brakes, hubs, and bearings completely assembled, it was time to move on to a proper brake fluid bleed.
