The rear suspension, complete with Whiteline and ST bits. The coil spring is retained by the limited droop travel of the shock and the height adjuster. Since the shock mount is only responsible for the loads exerted by the shock, VW can get away with a single shear mount on a long tab. This also makes a conventional coilover unit a very bad idea. |

| Front ST coilovers and Whiteline sway bar end links installed. To ensure the sway bar is not preloaded, the endlink should be easy to insert into its mounting holes on both sides without bending the ball joints. |
