I ended up passing by The Very Large Array in New Mexico. Cruising at 7,000+ foot altitudes challenged the little 1.6L engine, but she performed like a champ!
Turns out, there’s not much of interest picture-wise from Texas through Missouri. Luckily there were great friends and family. Nearing the end of the trip, as I passed into Illinois, I stopped to grab this snap as I admired the wonderful architecture.
With the trip complete, I can honestly say I am proud of how far the Miata has come, and I am excited to say it’s fulfilling my dreams of a great street/track combo. Is it perfect? No, but that’s a good thing. It gives me the opportunity to continue to make modifications and improvements. Still holding on to your butts? I hope so, because the ride isn’t over!
