I used a rag to protect the painted surface while making the bends.
I used the sanding wheel Dremel bit to clean up the edges. The bends aren’t the prettiest, but I don’t think they are too bad considering this is the first time I’ve tried doing something like this.
I wanted to retain the under hood insulation. Fortunately, it conveniently had the foam pads to match the cutouts in the skeleton of the hood.
This was my first hack at the insulation, but I felt it was a block to the flow path for the air to escape through the vents.
