Project S2000 Part 8 – Oil Control

Now we have a super sano (in Kojima speak) dual OCC setup just for the S2000.  It’ll keep oil out of our intake air when pulling high lateral Gs at the track and will be even more important with a turbo.

The rear can goes to the PCV using 3/8″ ID fuel tubing that I routed along the firewall.  The front can goes to the front breather using 1/2″ ID tubing routed around the front.  I bought 8′ of each and used about 6′ each.  I’d recommend buying 7′ just to be safe.
I fabricated the battery tie down bar from scrap I had laying around.  Saikou Michi will be providing a much nicer version that wasn’t made using an angle grinder.  Two holes are for holding the battery and the third hole to hold the dual OCC.  Simple and clean and the dual OCC fits nicely between the battery and A/C line.
The anti-bling.  The dual OCC is available in a number of colors as long as it’s black (like the Ford Model T).  Just kidding, it is actually available in a few colors by request, but I like black cuz I’m Asian.

This is the new tie down bar that Saikou Michi will provide.  It’s a lot nicer than the piece I made!
