The chassis mounts are now in place.
The swing link and the front of the bar are now mounted.
The rear of the bar also bolts up.
The bar is now in place and ready to be adjusted.
The upper and lower bump stops are adjusted with spacers with the vehicle on the ground to have a 1/8″ gap. In this picture the gap is shown before adjustment. When the axle twists and the leaf springs start to wind up, the bump stops bottom out and apply the twisting force to the traction bar.
The front heim joint is adjusted with the vehicles wheels on the ground so the swing link is vertical. When the traction bar moves as the spring winds up, the vertical link stops the wind up. This gives total control of the leaf spring wind up but also allows full articulation of the suspension!
