The Samberg rear differential mount kit supports the front of the stock FD differential and replaces two braces underneath the chassis.

 

Half of the Samberg kit mounts to the differential…

 

…the other half mounts to the chassis with a certain amount of potentially annoying drivetrain vibration isolated by a bushing between the two pieces.  The rear mounts of the differential have solid delrin bushings though, so we can probably forget about most of that vibration isolation.

 

Before and after.  Notice the thin stamped chassis braces that were replaced by the beefy Samberg crossmember.

 

With the rear end secured it’s time to put the driveshaft in.
