The R32's front suspension is nearing completion with a few details. Due to a lack of space because of an encroaching front differential, a steering rack from a JDM Toyota MR-S and a remote electric pump from a SW20 MR-2 are going to be used. This is an electric over hydraulic system that is much more compact. With the smaller rack the steering geometry is only slightly compromised and there will be a small amount of toe out under roll. Depending on who you talk to that can be considered desirable.
There is not enough time to develop the rear suspension much. For this year, due to time constraints it is going to remain R32 although we have relocated the rear roll center and reduced the amount of antisquat in the rear geometry.
Work on the car is continuing with the cage being fully integrated into the unibody structure. Look for some innovations from us to centralize mass and improve weight distribution. The car is coming together very rapidly and we will keep you all updated as the car continues to be built.
