The rear brackets actually need to be twisted 90° in order to snake around the sides of the seat cushions. This is accomplished by holding one end of the bracket with a pair of pliers…
…and using a second set of pliers to gently twist the bracket.
The rear brackets are then installed in the same manner as the front. Remove the bolt, insert it through the bracket, apply thread locker, and torque to 30 ft-lbs.
Reinstalling the seat cushion may require a second set of hands, since you have to snake both the “interior” factory female seat belts and both the “exterior” Schroth brackets through. Once everything’s aligned, however, the seat cushion just clicks back into place.That’s it; the initial installation of the Schroth Quick Fit harnesses is complete. Now, any time you want to use the harnesses, you simply click them into the four anchor points (the “exterior” brackets you just installed and the “interior” factory female connections):
“Exterior” front belt connection with the new bracket.
“Interior” front belt connection with the factory connector.
