This setup allows you to use an impact to press the old bushing and sleeve out without removing the hub assembly from the car. Yup this would have sucked with a blow torch and a hack saw! |
With the OEM bushing removed you can lubricate and install the new two piece TiC urethane replacement. Now that the bushings are all in place you can move to the next picture as we button up the install! |

With the installation of the Super Sexy Bushing kit completed and about a dozen donuts consumed we belched as the experts at Cobb removed the rear seats to begin the installation of the X-Brace. Man did we mention how happy we are to have entrusted this install to Cobb? Not that it cannot be done by a DIYer in their own space, but quality installation is something that is often overlooked for the sake of being thrifty. If you do not possess the necessary knowledge or tools please choose a quality shop!
With the rear seats removed we bolted the lower half of the brace in place using the OEM hardware and holes. |
Next we attached the strut tower mounts in each position. Everything fit perfectly to this point and all that remained was the installation of the tensioning bars. |
