Another shot of the track’s trickness is the engineered impact absorbing barriers.  The first parts of the wall are water filled plastic interlocking panels with collapsible supports.  Safety has come a long way in the last few years.

The cars all made about two single passes at first to recon the course.  The noise started to attract a crowd at the hotel.  The drift cars sounded pretty awesome.  Dai makes a solo run.

After a few minutes of this, the Hotel management asks us to stop because they are worried that we are disturbing the guests.  I can’t see how people who book into a hotel which has a track going through it would be bummed about noise but I am pretty sure our cars shook the building pretty good, especially Mad Mike’s ear splitting rotary!

Well I am running out of time and will have to continue the adventure a little later!
