| Before welding the tube is chamfered on the outside to help weld penetration. Scotchbrite is used to clean all oxidation in the weld area, yes even stainless has an oxide layer. Cleanliness is important for strong welds. |

| The coolest idea of them all. Costa clamps tubes to be welded together with a hose clamp with holes drilled in it. The clamp enables Costa to pre assemble the tube sections on the car before he welds anything. This is really cool. Check out what the holes are for. |
