Checking out the New McLeod PTT Clutch Line

Here are some to-be-assembled clutches awaiting final assembly.

This 7.25 clutch cover is both light and strong.

You can specify different thicknesses of friction material, thin for the ultimate in low inertia or thicker for a longer service life. Thicknesses from 0.105, 0.200, and 0.250″ are available. The discs are interchangeable with Titlton, Quartermaster, and AP racing.

You can see the difference between the 0.250″ and o.105″ thick discs here.

PTT clutches have 3 different pressure rings that move the fulcrum point for the diaphragm spring in and outward. Outward gives a slower engagement and less pedal pressure, inward gives a stiffer pedal and shorter engagement for crisper shifts, especially with a dog box.
