Ciao Bella: Part 2 – More Italian F1 GP, Rally cars, AMG Driving Academy, and more!

,

If you’ve ever wondered how they get those cool aerial shots of an F1 race, this is helicopter is how its done.  Some of the acrobatics this sucker pulled were pretty impressive and, at least here in Italy, it’s not afraid to fly low.  And I mean very low.

This was Italy’s La Forza Aerea 9-plane fly-by showcasing the Italian colors from its own Aermacchi MB-339 light combat military trainer planes, which was very electrifying.

Like with most races, if you don’t have a seat there is always “General Admission”. In Europe, however, F1 is extremely popular. So, for those couple of hours you’re packed in like sardines.

While Vettel qualified second in his Ferrari, his prancing horse was no match for Lewis’ silver arrows.

This is what the majority of the race looked like up front.  Eventually, Lewis finished with nearly 25 seconds to spare, which on a fast track like Monza, is like an eternity.  Because of Vettel’s teammate Kimi Raikkonen’s poor start, however, we got to see a lot of passing here as he clawed his way up to an impressive 5th place finish.
