Next, this breather line was removed. Now the tube can be taken off the engine, exposing the accessory drives underneath.
Now the front of the engine is accessible.
Next, the tensioner for the power steering and A/C belt is loosened so the belt can be removed.
Then the alternator belt is loosened in a similar manner and removed.
Now the stock balancer can be removed with a puller.
The stock pulley weighed 236.8 grams or a little more than 0.52 lbs.

pretty sure that’s a 1.8, even if the chassis may have started as a 1.6. Fluidampr makes great products!

I remember when I put the Fluidampr on my STI.
I started the engine and heard the exhaust, but didn’t noticed any vibrations through the seat.
Confused I touched the shifter and confirmed.
Oh ya, it is running.
Made a big difference.
