Formula D Texas: Behind the Lens

Practice went off without a hitch and everyone seemed to run seamlessly. Next up was qualifying; I headed over to the driver’s pits on the opposite side of the track to talk a little with some drivers before they ran their lap and get to hang out a little. All the teams are busy making last minute adjustments, drivers warming tires up, and some drivers just taking a minute to them to get focused.

Danny from Jeff Jones racing was giving a little detail about how they were doing and felt confident Jeff would qualify for Top 32, which he later did. Out of nowhere it began to rain, and Danny and I had to plug up some ventilation holes in the roof of Jeff’s car as well as cover the passenger window to protect the ECU since the wind was kicking the rain sideways.
