What do you think?

The drivers were introduced to the jubilant New Jersey crowd after the National Anthem was played and the first battle of the Top 16 was Ryan Tuerck in the Red Bull Camaro and Matt Field in the Fatlace S14 240SX, Matt Field gave up his rear bumper in an effort to top the Drift Alliance driver, but Ryan Tuerck took the win after Matt spun in the whoops.

Matt Fields lost both bumpers when going up against Ryan Tureck.  Matt gave his all but was eliminated when he spun.

Next was Matt Powers in the newly named Thor 2 Need for Speed 240SX against the Retakes “240LS” of Toshiki Yoshioka and Yoshioka put on a great lead run, he straightened out and never really caught Matt Powers on his follow run, giving the win to Matt! The South African Miner, Otto Graven in the Monster Mob 350Z took on Texas’ own Conrad Grunewald in the Hankook Tires Camaro. The strength and power of the Camaro over powered the might of the twin-turbo 350Z of Graven and Conrad took the win. Rumor is that Graven will be getting a new power-plant for Evergreen Speedway and it’s going to be a fast one, but will the combination of a great driver talent and a faster and lighter engine prove the best combination for a podium for Graven? We’ll have to wait and watch!

Will a lighter, more powerful engine be enough? Watch out, Evergreen, Otto Blood Diamond Graven is coming!
Tureck and Field
Field looked strong against Tuerck, but it wasn’t enough and Ryan moved on!
Matt Powers and Toshiki Yoshioka
“Thor 2,” Not in Theaters, but bringing the Hammer none-the-less!
