Enough with the bad sights, let’s get on with the results! First up is Street Class, where these guys must have a road legal and registered car to compete. This is typically the entry level class for many GTA Enthusiasts!
Street FWD:
In Street FWD, Doug Wind was the only competitor in the Modern Performance Dodge SRT-4. He was able to set a time of 1:47.432. He would pick up the win in this class since he was the only competitor. |
Street RWD:
Luke Crowell was able to secure Fourth Place in the Garage Dread Corvette. He set a time of 1:54.412, but would not pick up any contingency or awards. Matthew Bruek brought home the coveted GTA Steak Knives for his Third Place standing. His time was 1:50.558 in the iTrack Motorsports Mazda Miata. |
Brian Hedian was able to secure Second Place in Street RWD with a time of 1:45.701 in the Wired Racing Honda S2000. He also brought home $200 for his efforts! |
With a new class record time of 1:42.026, Austin Cabot in the Deftmotion Honda S2000 wins First Place in Street RWD. Despite his off course excursion, his fastest time was still set on Saturday! He’ll probably use the $600 he won on a new rear bumper and tail lights! |
While initially awarded the win, the Zen Motors Lexus IS300 driven by Vince Spadea was disqualified after a post-race inspection for having a Non-Operable Catalytic Converter. He also had to be towed off the track after a mechanical failure. |
