Hooman Rahimi’s 350Z: Pro 2 and the Cost of Drifting

,

Hooman’s 350Z has custom fender work that are one piece instead of overfenders, a common trend in the drift scene.

After 5 years of events and various setbacks, Hooman will enter the 2017 year as a Pro 2 licensed driver. Along with this, his goal is to make the car more reliable with plans to upgrade the heads, camshaft, and fuel delivery along with safety and suspensions upgrades. He quoted, “I see a lot of guys dump a ton of money in their car and never use the car to its maximum potential, or worse end up parking their cars and slowly exit the drift scene.” This just goes to show that a powerful engine alone just isn’t going to cut it in professional drifting. In the end, it’s about all-around upgrades or nothing for Hooman.

Be sure to follow Hooman Rahimi during the 2017 Formula Drift Pro 2 season.
