The ball joint is broken loose, the lower control arm dropped, the lower shock mounts disconnected and the lower mount pried loose. 
Now the upper shock mount bolts are removed.
A spring compressor is used to compress the main spring.  Then the top mount and bump stop can be removed.  These parts will be reused. 
The seal protector is tapped off with a hammer. 
Now Chris can remove the spring seat, this part will also be reused. 
Chris moves the spring seat retaining clip to the highest position.  This will raise the front of the truck about 1.8″ relative to stock.  This will level out the truck that was tail high before.
