Like the front shocks, we first removed the upper mounts of the rear shocks.
Next, the lower mounts were removed to pull the shock.
Like the front shocks, the rear KW’s are a lot shorter to accommodate a lower ride height without sacrificing suspension travel.
We had to drop one lower control arm to remove the leaf spring since we are converting to coilovers in the same way as the front suspension. We had to loosen the inner pivot bolts to avoid damaging the bushings. So to keep the camber the same we marked the position of the eccentrics.
We also removed the lower anti-sway bar end link.
With the rear KW shocks in place Howard lowers the rear control arm in preparation to remove the factory rear leaf spring.
