The exhaust headers for the Voodoo engine are a bit odd. When packaging gets tight, the engineers have to come up with creative solutions. Like many high performance engines, the Voodoo uses piston oil squirters.
These appear to be pneumatic actuators which control some air tumbler valves.
Ford decided to go exotic with the GT350 and spec’d out carbon fiber composite wheels.
There’s some kind of core material in the wheel. I’m guessing part of the manufacturing process.
This is the 2.3L Ecoboost for the Focus RS, which has upgraded materials compared to the Mustang engine. Plastic valve covers are becoming the norm now too.
