Out for the not so warm, warm-up lap before race start.  Best that could be done setup wise was turn down suspension stiffness settings and use the brakes to help get some heat into the tires.
GREEN GREEN GREEN GREEN!!!  I've always wanted to have a comm system so my crew cheif can yell that over the radio.  But until then, I just have to say it in my head.  Honestly I was late on the start since I could barely see the green flag through the rain.  I did a last minute application of Rain-X before the race, but it totally wasn't enough.  Justin held his position leading into the brake zone of turn 1, but on corner exit the S2000 caught a unrecoverable amount of oversteer spinning Justin off track on the inside of turn 1.
Martin ran a clean and controlled race, getting around traffic and staying well within his grip threshold.
The turbocharged torque band of Project G20 helped Martin make up alot of time on the front straight despite the rain.  Being in the upper gears helped with traction in the wet.
Justin eventually made it back on track and kept a solid pace.  I can see how a edgy handling S2000 can be somewhat of a handful in the wet conditions.
Another spin left Justin off pace, but he still completed the race with zero damage which can't be said for some of the other drivers in race group “A”
I lead the field for the duration of the race.  Being in the rain really helped me get a better understanding of Project EF's behavior and dynamic.  The Maxxis RC-1 tires actually performed well in the rain despite being a “Two line DOT” tire.
