MotoIQ Pacific Tuner Car Championship presented by Motul, Round 1 & 2, Willow Springs International Raceway

,

Shortly before the race, my crew and I made some suspension changes to help gain a touch more rotation.  The amount of adjustability Project EF has now is extensive and really helps with fine tuning the balance of the car's handling.
Martin and myself on grid for Sunday's race.  The weather started to get cloudy but the rain seemed like it was going to hold off.
Here you can see the grey two tone that was the result of Martin's race collision years go.
I still barely recognize my car with the McLaren/Honda/Marlboro Formula 1 inspired livery.
Suited up and ready to race, I tried to do my best “Anti-Stig” look with my full black safety gear setup thanks to Sablet USA and Simpson Racing.
For Sunday's race, the MotoIQ Pacific Tuner Car Championship presented by Motul field was on grid behind the Honda Challenge group.
Shortly after a solid start that had me first in class, and 3rd over all in race group “A”, I proceeded to enter turn 5 crossed up in over steer because I spaced out on that earlier mentioned suspension change and didnt adjust my entry style, putting me off the outside of turn 5 at speed.  Luckily I was able to keep Project EF pointed in the same direction as the track and made a quick and safe return to the race surface.
