The second to last race of the season was in the books and the MPTCC crew was ready for a little R&R, so we decided to hit the town and visit the finest establishments the city of Buttonwillow had to offer! Besides, the kiddies were getting restless and started using our newly added APR aero as their own personal playhouse.
First on the list was the world renowned Willow Ranch! No where else in Buttonwillow can you find fine modern art examples such as this.
On a serious note, the steaks at the Willow Ranch are actually not bad at all. You'll definitely be enjoying a better meal here than you would at the local fast food alternatives.

The “Do Anything, Go Anywhere, Haul Anything Project VW Golf TDi” hauled three of us, all our equipment, got an average of 41 MPG, and we even left the tow hitch on in case we needed to ask it to do more. After a long day at the track and stuffing ourselves to the point of shame, it was time to hit the sack at the luxurious Motel 6.
