And finally, the last car on our list is the 964 Singer-Williams DLS. Singer perhaps is the originator of the high tech retro modern 911 rebuilders. They get a 911 unibody and reskin it with bonded in place carbon fiber. All of the external trim is also carbon fiber.
One of the most unique design elements of the Singer is the intake duct built into the window.
They had the Singer engine on display which shows the unique carbon intake ducts feeding into the engine developed by Williams Advanced Engineering with input from Hanz Mezger. The air-cooled Singer engine displaces 4.0-liters and 500 horsepower. Scroll right to see additional angles.
Only 75 Singer DLS will be built for a whopping $1.8 million dollars. Do you have a donor car and spare cash to spend?
These cars were our favorites at the Rennsport Reunion, did you go? Did you have any others? Comment below and share your experiences. We can’t wait to go back next year.

I designed a 3 way adjustable sway bar with a MTB front derailleur shifter. It was super simple linkage, that works great. But it was an SAE car, so it was only 400lbs.
Any pics of the 919?
You guys should look into Lite Blox Battery, (made in Germany). Their heaviest battery weighs 2.6Kg./ 5.72lbs. The technology in their battery put to shame big named companies.
Great article but that RWB doesn’t belong on here.
