The main timing chain is put in place once TDC is confirmed on the crank.  Again, make sure all of the timing marks line up.
The chain tensioners and guides are reinstalled.   On a VQ carefully inspect all of these parts as on many engines, they will have heavy wear. If worn, replace with the latest Nissan parts.  Our engine had very little wear of these parts so we reused them.
Timing marks lined up, tensioners good, new O-rings.  We are ready!
The cam bolts are torqued.
When installing the front cover you have to be aware that there are passages that feed the variable cam timing cast into it.  This thing with the piston ring type seal feeds the intake cam control.  The seal has to go into the pocket in the front of the CVTC device and not leak.  When installing the cover you have to make sure you don't mess this up or you will have bad problems.
