Once the seams are exposed, Zach drills out the spot welds.
The rotted rear panels are removed.
The quarter panels are also removed in the same fashion.
You can see some of the shoddy patch works, the not killed body rot, and the bondo mess. We had to replace this as it is like cancer and will continue to eat up the car under new paint.
We wire brushed and sanded the rust away and brushed on rust deactivator.
Zack spent hours fitting and timing the new quarter panels. A lot of skill is needed to properly align large panels like this.

That is super cool that good quality repair parts can still be found for that chassis. Rust and bondo are the absolute worst thing to find when trying to modify any car.
Zach is the best!! I wish I lived closer cause Iād love for him to do my roll cage!
