We are using 1mm larger valves and the valve seats were opened up with a Newen CNC valve seat-cutting machine. The Newen cuts a smooth continuous radius from the chamber to the seat and then from the seat to the valve bowl to give the ultimate in low lift flow.
We used a Supertech 1mm oversize intake valve, the intake valve is made out of nitrided stainless.
The valve’s nitrided finish is hard, slippery, and wear-resistant which ensures a long life. We WPC treated the valves for longer life and smoother operation as well.
The intake valve has a reduced diameter stem and a nail head contour that improves flow for flow coming into the cylinder.
We used Supertech Inconel exhaust valves with a sodium-filled stem. The Inconel resists the high temperatures that a turbo generates while the sodium helps conduct heat away from the valve head. This actually can give more detonation resistance. The valves are 1mm bigger than stock and have a reduced diameter stem with a tulip contour to help flow.

Amazing.
Fantastic article as always! What oil are you going to run with this engine?
