Project Do It All S13, Chassis Fabrication part 2 With ZSM Customs

You can see that other parts of the car are considerably lower here.

We still have plenty of room for the exhaust as the stock exhaust location is completely unobstructed.

We reinforced this area of the cage that put a shear downward load on the shock towers.  This would not pass NASA tech inspection.  Now the load also goes to the floor near where the suspension subframe attaches to.  This big gusset will be dimple-die-treated for stiffness and will further stiffen the area.

You can see the new down legs and their floor plate here.

As the new dash bar was mounted back a few inches from the stock mounting point, we tied that into the main cage structure here.
