The billet clutch top features the angled outer supports that the legs of the two steel floating plates center themselves on. The pressure plate on the “184mm Competition Clutch Series” are an industry leader in clutch technology. The CNC tops are precision cut and matched to their clutch finger design to provide a smooth, quick release for the ultimate performance clutch.
The Competition Clutch triple organic clutch is going to be used in conjunction with the Fisch Racing Tech 7.25” multi-disc lightweight flywheel.
The Competition Clutch triple organic clutch and Fisch Racing Tech lightweight flywheel weighed in at 24.4lbs. This is more than 12lbs lighter than the McLeod RST twin disc clutch that we were originally going to use.
This setup should make the engine very responsive and quick revving, which is great for quick shifts and rev-matching downshifts. We are looking forward to testing the clutch to see how the clutch release characteristics and drivability of this setup feels.
We bolted the Fisch Racing Tech flywheel to our 13B with the supplied (6) ARP fasteners that bolt the flywheel to the 13B automatic counterweight.
With the clutch bolted to the flywheel, our engine was ready to be mated to the CD009 transmission.

This car is going to be amazing.
Any reason why you didn’t go with one of the Tilton twin disc options?
It was not available at the time and we are excited to see how this organic disc design and technology performs. It has the potential to have smooth engagement characteristics and excellent low-inertia response. Stay tuned for our review.
Hi guys i have a tilton hydraulic throwout bearing/slave cylinder and im using a Mcleod twin disk clutch and Tilton H2B flywheel. I went to bleed the system and the piston popped out without touching the the clutch. It has about 1mm gap with the piston fully extended. What can i do? Where can i get a spacer?
You are going to need to get a longer Tilton HRB piston and/or a threaded adjustment sleeve. Be sure to measure the gap and follow Tilton’s instructions for the fully compressed clearance requirements.
Sorry i forgot to mention its a Honda F20B mated to a B series transmission
