Traces of oil began to collect on the surface after air bubbles continued to appear for an abnormally long bleeding period.

After bleeding the cooling system for an abnormally long time, gigantic air bubbles continually surfaced from the radiator with traces of oil beginning to collect with each rising bubble. Our hearts sank as we realized that we had blown the head gasket.
With that, we knew that my little Civic's track day was over. But, I was satisfied. I had battled my demons and won. My little Civic redeemed itself on the racetrack as a respectable handling tuner car, and I knew the potential it had in it. As you can see in the baseline video, the Civic ran an 2:21.56 which far exceeded my expectations. So now, with a baseline on record of my Civic in its sad state, it was time to trailer my baby home and begin the process of turning it into a true bad ass road race machine.

Watch Annie's baseline hotlap at Buttonwillow Raceway, configuration #13 clockwise. Don't get too distracted by her excessive head bobbing – and try to avoid doing that yourself when you're on the track!
