Project Lexus IS-F, Improving the ride via the brakes with FIGS Engineering

,

14″ two piece rotors, Brembo six piston calipers and 19″ Volk G2 wheels with Nitto NT05 tires look pretty good.
The rear brakes looks good with two piston Brembos.  Our gunmetal G2's are understated yet distinctive.

So how did the lightweight rotors work out?  Amazingly the difference in ride comfort and acceleration is feelable.  We were able to reduce the rebound settings of our KW Variant III's by one click and even the wife noticed the ride improvement.  Between the KW's and the rotors our car rides so much better than a stock IS-F with much improved roadholding, a rare best of both worlds combo.

The rotors are also supremely quiet and have completely eliminated the squeal and most of the brake noise as well.  The brakes are much quieter than stock.  Although the FIGS rotors are not cheap, they compliment the fast yet refined IS-F and make it better.  We approve.
