Now we get into the wiring of the fuel pump. We decided to use the new plug with the wiring from the stock fuel pump housing. The other method using the universal kit would require some cutting and soldering of the fuel pump wiring. This way is much less time consuming and still uses the stock wiring from the stock fuel pump. We felt that this would be the cleaner way to do things.
Here, the wire ends are cut and stripped to use the connector supplied in the installation kit.
The wire ends are then crimped to the connector pins.
Howard uses this tool to depress the locking tab on the outside of the pin when pushing it into the connector to secure them.
The connector is then plugged into the pump to make sure it snaps on.
The fuel pump is placed back in the fuel pump housing and is now ready to be put back in!

Hello,
please how it behaved on a standard engine, were there any problems after some time? I may have trouble with the original fuel pump and am considering replacing the DW200, but it will be on the serial engine, supercharging do not consider. I’m not sure if the flow rate at the original specification is good. Thanks
