The kit we installed included the billet core, the delrin cover, an installation tool and the threaded adjustment adapter.
Here is the machined pocket that is compatible with the stock reverse lockout pull.
The assembled knob installed and adjusted to ensure the shift pattern is straight.
Here is another view from the side. The Raceseng shift knob does sit slightly taller than the previous knobs, but after a few miles it the new taller profile was actually preferred.
The last upgrade I made to the interior is adding a GT350 steering wheel. This is a very common upgrade amongst the S550 community. The wheel is a direct replacement for the sometimes-slippery stock leather wheel. The GT350 wheel has a flat bottom design and is wrapped in a much nicer alcantara material. It also has a nice leather centering-stripe on the top of the wheel. I opted for the grey stitched GT350 wheel as it matches the other interior stitching in the car. Ford also offers the GT350R version that has red stitching and a red centering-strip, if you’re looking for a pop of color.
The GT350 wheel.
The mix of leather and alcantra has a much nicer feel than the stock wheel.
