The new curved bracket is secured to the roll bar with hose clamps. These are big and sturdy, and are not likely to go anywhere. The handle is ready for actuating the extinguisher, should it be needed (let’s hope not!).
We also didn’t quite like the way the fire bottle was mounted. Turning the bottle around with the handle inboard means that a hard side hit won’t inadvertently engage the fire system. We also improved the sturdiness of the mounts.
Here’s a close up of the extinguisher handle. You can see both of the attachment points for the two pull handles and the arming pin. You can also see the push-on connection that most fire systems use.

Captive nuts are riveted into place and we utilized some factory holes where they were available.
