Project Scion FR-S- Testing Greddy’s Cold Air Intake!

,

The GReddy high flow filter is installed on the end of the intake tube with the MAF.

The filter snaps into the airbox.  (Martin is fishing out the other end of the “noise increaser tube” we'll get to in a few.)

The other end of the tube goes to the throttle body through a silicone hose coupler.

This tube is the dumb Scion “noise increaser tube”.  It is designed to make the car sound more sporty by directing intake noise into the driver's compartment!  GReddy gives you the option of connecting the tube to the intake or removing it.  Of course we decided to remove it as we think it was a dumb idea to put it into the car in the first place!  Almost as dumb as the engine noises on BMW radios!

Getting rid of this piece of trash cleans up the engine compartment!  Thank you GReddy for giving us a choice.
