The caliper is bolted down into place. Wilwood uses radial mount calipers for this kit. Radial mounts are stiffer and allow the mounting points to be closer to the rotor for reduced torsional stress.
The rear braided steel brake lines are hooked up.
Next the brake pads are installed.
Our impressive rear brakes are now ready to go, all we have to do is bleed the system. We opted to use slotted rotors because drilled rotors have a tendency to crack when used on the track.
Moving to the front brakes, we first remove the stock factory brake lines.
We unbolted and removed the stock backing plate and bolted this carbon fiber air guide from APR in place. This will be used later for our brake cooling ducts.
