The massive Wilwood 6 piston caliper dwarfs the stock single piston iron caliper. Like the rear brakes, the forged alloy Wilwood parts are much lighter than stock despite having much more pad area.
The Wilwood rotors are much larger in diameter and thicker than the stock parts. Despite being bigger they are also lighter.
The rotor and the centering ring are installed on the stock spindle.
The caliper adapter is installed next. You can see the studs for radial mounting.
The caliper is slid into place and bolted down.
The braided steel brake line is installed next. Braided lines are stiffer and do not swell which results in a much firmer brake pedal.
